Click "Play Monty" from the
Monty Home Page. Remember, you must have Flash
4 or later to play.

 |
Monty combines elements of classic slot machines,
roulette and dice. |

Click on any of the purple segments of the wheel
to select random tiles and move them to your hand at the center of the wheel.
Your objective is to make the best possible hand based on the scoring matrix
below for each of the four rounds. The tiles are shown just below the game
wheel, and are ranked from lowest (cherries) to highest (bars), from left
to right. Tiles increase in value based on the number of tiles you match.

Once you've selected five tiles from the wheel,
you have two options. If you're happy with the tiles you've drawn and want
to score your hand, click the "Cash In" button in the middle of the wheel.
If you think you can get a better hand you can discard as many tiles as
you like (up to five) by selecting them from the center of the wheel and
clicking the "Discard" button. You can then replace them with either more
random tiles from the wheel or from the tiles the House discards in the
area below the wheel. You may only discard once per hand, and you must "Cash
In" your hand before the 30 second clock runs out. |
 |
In round one you are trying to make your best two
tile hand for six different hands. In round two, each hand has three tiles,
and there are six hands. Round three is four hands
of four tiles each, and round four is three hands of five tiles each. If you can’t make the best hand for a round (i.e. four-of-a-kind
in round three) you can still score a lower hand (two-of-a-kind or three-of-a-kind).
“Two Pair” and “Full House” hands are also allowed.”
And just in case you think you have the game figured
out, there are two random elements to the game. The first is the "Wild"
or "Monty" tile, which will always match whatever tile you have the most
of. The other is the "Zap" tile, which cancels out all of the tiles that
you have so far. You can discard "Zap" tiles as long as you draw them
before you discard your tiles. Have fun, and good luck!
