The
goal of Mindstein is to answer questions correctly as quickly
as you can in each of three rounds to get the highest score
possible. You are awarded points for all correct answers based
on how long it takes you to answer them, however, you are
not penalized for wrong answers. |

Scoring
in Mindstein is derived from Einstein's equation, e=mc2,
where "e" is your accumulating total score, "m" is the accumulating
point values awarded from correct answers, and "c" is a
constant (2.99).
You
are given a designated time limit for each question (5 seconds
in round one, 10 seconds in round two and 30 seconds in
round three) and points awarded for a correct answer range
from 1 to 100. For example, if you have 10 seconds to answer
a question and you answer it correctly in 5 seconds, you
will receive 50 points for that question (50% of 100).
In round three, correct answers are calculated somewhat
differently than in rounds one and two. For each question
containing nine buttons, your score is calculated based
on whether each button you clicked or left unclicked was
answered correctly. See the image below for an example of
how the scoring calculation is shown on screen...
